neoVI Fire 2 is the next generation multi-protocol vehicle interface & data logger

Modern vehicle architectures are expanding to include Ethernet and CAN FD in addition to existing CAN and LIN networks.

The neoVI FIRE 2 provides Ethernet, 8 channels of CAN (including CAN FD) and 4 channels of LIN in one tool. All channels run simultaneously and are time-stamped in hardware. A fully isolated high-speed USB interface allows messages to be sent and received without risk of damage to the PC.

In addition to working as a PC interface, the neoVI FIRE 2 can operate in standalone mode. It can run real-time scripts, log data to a removable microSD card, and simulate ECUs and gateways. With these features, it is also possible to run a script to reflash ECUs using data from the microSD card.

The ValueCAN 4 series is Intrepid’s next generation of low-cost, high-performance interfaces for CAN and CAN FD networks.

A family of four related products, the ValueCAN 4 series offers CAN FD support, increased buffer size, improved latency performance, software-controlled CAN bus termination, enhanced LED indicators for CAN traffic, standalone operation over USB, a ruggedized metal case with protective rubber boot, and high-speed USB 2.0 support (480 Mbps) with Type A or Type C connectors.

RAD-Galaxy
Intrepid’s RAD-Galaxy is a multi-purpose Ethernet active tap and media converter for Automotive Ethernet.

Using the RAD-Galaxy, you can monitor both sides of up to 6 BroadR-Reach® (100BASE-T1) connections, or attach your laptop to as many as 12 BroadR-Reach® ECUs or other devices. As a gateway to standard 8-wire Gigabit Ethernet, RAD-Galaxy makes any standard Ethernet device, laptop, or data logger compatible with BroadR-Reach®.

The RAD-Galaxy has 12 BroadR-Reach / 100BASE-T1 PHYs, allowing it to tap 6 links between ECUs and/or switch ports. It can also be configured to act as a media converter for up to 12 devices. In addition to its Automotive Ethernet capabilities, it offers 8x CAN FD channels, 1 LIN channel, DoIP support and standalone operation capability.

RAD-Star 2
Intrepid’s RAD-Star 2 is a multi-purpose active tap and media converter for Automotive Ethernet.

Using the RAD-Star 2, you can monitor one pair of 100BASE-T1 (BroadR-Reach®) connections, or attach your laptop to two 100BASE-T1 ECUs or other devices. As a gateway to 10/100/1000BASE-TX, RAD-Star 2 makes any standard Ethernet device, laptop, or data logger compatible with 100BASE-T1.

The RAD-Star 2 has two 100BASE-T1 (BroadR-Reach®) PHYs, allowing it to tap a single link between ECUs and/or switch ports. It can also be configured to act as a media converter for up to 2 devices. In addition to its Automotive Ethernet capabilities, it offers 2x CAN FD channels.

RAD-Moon

The RAD-Moon is a media converter that allows you to connect a BroadR-Reach® / 100BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet device to a PC with a conventional 4-wire 10/100 Ethernet port. With its low cost, compact size and high performance, the RAD-Moon is ideal for monitoring, analysis, diagnostics and other applications in an Automotive Ethernet environment.

RAD-SuperMoon
Intrepid’s RAD-SuperMoon is the most advanced media converter for Automotive Ethernet applications.

Using the RAD-SuperMoon, you can convert from 100/1000BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet to standard 10/100/1000 Ethernet, useful for connecting a PC to a 100/1000BASE-T1 host or switch.

Two RAD-SuperMoons can also be used as a pair to implement an active tap, allowing you to monitor traffic on a 100/1000BASE-T1 link between two ECUs or an ECU and a switch port.

The neoOBD2 family of products provides a full hardware and software tool set you can use to build and deploy vehicle network IoT adapter that is customized to your exact requirements. Intrepid provides a unique model that spans the life cycle of an automotive IoT product from the initial software protoyping & development phase to the mass deployment & maintenance phase.

  • neoOBD2 DEV (prototyping & development): full-featured neoOBD2 hardware in development board form-factor. Contains onboard USB-JTAG/SWD debug probes for debugging and programming the ARM Cortex M4 Wi-Fi and BLE SoCs.
  • neoOBD2 LC (mass deployment): modular mass deployment device in OBDII dongle form-factor, absent onboard debug probes.
  • neoOBD2 SDK: published SDK available on GitHub with sample projects and documentations for building Wi-Fi and BLE enabled connected vehicle applications for the ARM Cortex M4 applications processor on the TI CC3235SF Wi-Fi MCU and Nordic nRF52840 BLE SoC, using the Intrepid Secure Module (ISM) vehicle network API.
