Pu\u00f2 essere definita come quel ramo dell\u2019informatica che abilita in una macchina capacit\u00e0 computazionali e logiche solitamente considerate tipiche del genere umano, come la capacit\u00e0 decisionale, la percezione spazio-temporale dell\u2019ambiente in cui la macchina si trova e la capacit\u00e0 di riconoscere immagini ed oggetti. A permetterlo sono la programmazione e la progettazione sia a livello hardware che software.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-studio42-paragraph text-none\">La macchina va dunque oltre la semplice capacit\u00e0 di calcolo o di riconoscimento\/elaborazione dei dati, ma mostra esempi di altre forme di \u201cintelligenza\u201d, come quelle indicate da Howard Gardner nel suo saggio \u201cFrames of Mind\u201d nel 1983. La sua Teoria delle Intelligenze Multiple si basa sull\u2019idea che tutti gli esseri umani possiedano almeno sette forme di \u201crappresentazione mentale\u201d, dall\u2019intelligenza spaziale a quella sociale, da quella cinestetica a quella introspettiva. Le macchine che nascono in ambito AI sono in grado di riprodurre proprio queste tipologie di intelligenze.<br\/><br\/>Pi\u00f9 recentemente, la Commissione Europea tramite il suo team dedicato (vedi box) ha proposto questa definizione (aprile 2018):<br\/><br\/>\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 L&#8217;intelligenza artificiale (AI) si riferisce a sistemi che mostrano un comportamento intelligente e che sono in grado di analizzare il loro ambiente e intraprendere azioni &#8211; con un certo grado di autonomia &#8211; per raggiungere obiettivi specifici.<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I sistemi di intelligenza artificiale possono essere puramente software (ad es. Assistenti vocali, software di analisi delle immagini, motori di ricerca, sistemi di riconoscimento vocale e facciale) o AI integrati in dispositivi hardware (ad es. robot avanzati, auto autonome, nonch\u00e9 sensori fisici per misurare ad esempio temperatura, pressione, distanza.&nbsp; Ad un sistema di AI occorrono sensori adeguati per percepire i dati presenti nell&#8217;ambiente che risultano rilevanti per l&#8217;obiettivo assegnato.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Algoritmi di elaborazione e algoritmi decisionali<\/strong><\/td><td>I dati che sono stati catturati dai sensori vengono processati dal modulo di ragionamento della AI, che li utilizza per compiere l&#8217;azione corretta in base all&#8217;obiettivo da raggiungere. I dati diventano informazioni.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Attuazione della decisione<\/strong><\/td><td>Decisa l&#8217;azione, il sistema AI attiva gli attuatori a sua disposizione, non solamente fisici ma anche software. Il primo personaggio di finzione ad essere considerato tale \u00e8 il <em>Frankenstein <\/em>di Mary Shelley (1818), divenuto film nel 1931. Non una creatura di metallo e silicio, come siamo abituati a immaginare oggi, ma un essere non umano riportato in vita grazie a prodigi tecnologici, che scopre il libero arbitrio e combatte per ottenerlo sfidando il suo stesso creatore.<br\/>\u00c8 un concetto che ritroviamo in molte opere successive, a partire dal dramma ceco di Karel \u010capek \u201cRUR\u201d del 1920. <em>Robota <\/em>in ceco significa lavoro: le \u201cmacchine\u201d costruite per sostituirci nei lavori pi\u00f9 pericolosi e pesanti, finiscono per divenire sempre pi\u00f9 intelligenti e apprendere non solo nozioni e azioni ma anche sentimenti. Il distacco dai loro creatori umani avviene anche in <strong>A.I.<\/strong> (2001),\u00a0 <strong>Bicentennial Man<\/strong> (1999) e <strong>I, Robot<\/strong> (2004) in forma piuttosto romantica, mentre nella saga di Terminator (1984) e in film come <strong>Ex-Machina<\/strong> (2015) gli epiloghi sono pi\u00f9 tragici. In ordine di tempo i primi veri robot \u201cbuoni\u201d li troviamo nel primo episodio della lunga saga di <strong>Star Wars<\/strong> del 1977. Alcuni scienziati sostengono che sia prossima a vedere la luce una AI in grado di relazionarsi all\u2019ambiente sociale nello stesso modo in cui lo farebbe un essere umano. Una super AI sarebbe migliore di noi in tutto, ma qui si entra nel territorio della fantascienza, Le sue capacit\u00e0 comprenderebbero processi decisionali, decisioni razionali e anche la costruzione                                             <span class=\"title h5 mb-2\">Artificial Intelligence for Image Processing<\/span>\r\n                                                        \r\n                            <p class=\"mt-4\">Il progetto \u00e8 relativo alla realizzazione di un software integrato a bordo veicolo per l\u2019interazione con i dati veicolari (Bus CAN ecc.) e per la visualizzazione su HW dedicato degli eventi ricevuti. \u00e8 stato sviluppato  inoltre un componente per centro servizi per la gestione delle immagini con tecnologie di computer vision.<\/p>\n class=\"mt-4\">Gitral \u00e8 un software Teoresi che permette di riconoscere tutti gli oggetti tipici presenti su un cluster, o pi\u00f9 in generale su un HMI, a partire dagli screenshot presi da telecamere ad alta risoluzione. Gitral \u00e8 in grado di rilevare:<br \/>\n&#8211;\tIcon \/ TellTale Status e frequenza<br \/>\n&#8211;\tLivello e posizione del grafico a barre<br \/>\n&#8211;\tTesto e numero<br \/>\n&#8211;\tGauge position<\/p>\n<p class=\"mt-4\">Lo strumento \u00e8 utile ad esempio in ambiente HIL (Hardware In the Loop) per automatizzare il piano di validazione di software HMI.<br \/>\nInfine il protocollo
