{"id":37740,"date":"2024-06-19T10:10:05","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T08:10:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.teoresigroup.com\/?p=37740"},"modified":"2024-06-20T09:07:08","modified_gmt":"2024-06-20T07:07:08","slug":"kick-off-for-the-flagship-project-of-spoke-7-on-connected-and-autonomous-cars-by-most-presentation-in-naples-on-june-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teoresi.sixeleven.it\/de\/news\/kick-off-for-the-flagship-project-of-spoke-7-on-connected-and-autonomous-cars-by-most-presentation-in-naples-on-june-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Kick-off for the flagship project of Spoke 7 on connected and autonomous cars by MOST"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns row align-center row sezione\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column column small-12 medium-10 large-8\">\n<p>Less than two years after the establishment of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teoresigroup.com\/de\/news\/teoresi-with-universities-and-companies-for-the-creation-of-the-national-centre-for-sustainable-mobility\/\">MOST (National Center for Sustainable Mobility)<\/a>, efforts to make the mobility system \u201cgreener\u201d overall and more &#8222;digital&#8220; in its management continue with the birth of the <strong>flagship project &#8222;CCAM4Italy and Model4Italy as Digital Twins&#8220;<\/strong>, proposed by Spoke 7 based at the University of Naples Federico II, dedicated to CCAM (Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility) and intelligent infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, which will be presented in Naples on June 12, aims to create a national network of research infrastructures, accredited laboratories, living labs, and vehicle platforms to develop, test, and certify CCAM solutions, digital twinning, and intelligent infrastructures. These facilities will be organized into a National Technical Support Center that aims to overcome the challenges hindering the development of the CCAM system in Italy. The project also includes the creation of a digital platform for analyzing and managing urban mobility, leveraging CCAM technologies and data from various sources. The center will include three research infrastructures, three prototype platforms, and five support laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teoresi&#8217;s involvement in the flagship project includes two activities: the <strong>development of a telematic box<\/strong> and the <strong>setup of one of the three living labs<\/strong> planned in Naples at the Mostra d&#8217;Oltremare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Telematic box<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will work closely with project partners to develop a new telematic box, designed both to enable new cars, &#8222;smart by design,&#8220; to communicate with road infrastructures by exchanging messages and information in real-time, and as an aftermarket device to equip cars already in circulation with smart technologies. This&nbsp; is a vehicle-to-infrastructure connection system essential to improve road safety, reduce traffic, and optimize urban resource management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Living lab at Mostra d\u2019Oltremare<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second aspect of our contribution to the project concerns the setup of the demonstrator in one of the three living labs expected by the project, the Mostra d&#8217;Oltremare. We will work with all partners to create an innovative space where it will be possible to test new software, prototypes, and services for autonomous and connected cars. It will be an environment designed to test the most advanced technologies in real conditions, with the aim of collecting data, evaluating the performance of solutions, and making continuous improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mostra d&#8217;Oltremare, in addition to becoming a showcase for innovations and a real experimentation laboratory, will also be the location for the <strong>public presentation of the flagship project<\/strong>, which will be held on <strong>June 21, 2024<\/strong>.<br>Valter Brasso, President and CEO of Teoresi, will speak, sharing the company&#8217;s role in
